Rasa Vineyards Distribution in NJ
Finally, after a months-long process, we can now sell our wines in NJ. Of course, we still can’t sell direct to consumer since NJ doesn’t allow that. But we can sell to restaurants and wine stores.

A Birthday During Harvest
I’m definitely at that age where I don’t think about celebrating my birthday. It’s just another day closer to death as far as I’m concerned (alright, so that’s a bit melodramatic). Thanksgiving Wines
Thanksgiving was fun. As usual, Cindy did all the cooking and I was responsible for the wine. We started things off with a couple of Rieslings – Joh. Jos. Christoffel Erben 2007 Erdener Treppchen Riesling Kabinett and Karlsmuhle Peter Geiben 2008 Kaseler Nies’chen Riesling Kabinett.

A New Tradition
Our first wine, the 2007 Rasa Vineyards QED was released in June. Our second wine, the 2007 Rasa Vineyards Prinicpia Reserve Syrah will be released in a few days.
Starting today, there will be a new tradition in my household. From now on, we will always drink Rasa wines with our Thanksgiving meal. Pretty cool.

It is unbelievable to me but we are now finished with our third harvest. The harvest went well though it was atypical. Things started out slowly with bud break behind by 2 weeks.
